I just saw the opening five minutes of the remake of Fame, and am fairly delighted by the beanpole kid in the audition montage bellowing his way through King Lear. If I'm ever at a controversial piece of theatre which has whipped the audience into a frenzy of outrage and they're rushing the stage, I'm going to join that mob and shout "Drown the cocks!"

Seems like that's the right crowd for it.

I have such faith in the way that the ConDems are going about fixing the deficit. After all who needs the public sector, affordable public transport and science? I don't care about those things at all.
