I have been invited out for booze. We have a tendency to start early when this is the case, which makes perfect goddamn sense. We're not going out to see a show, nor are we expecting an orgy to break out when it turns midnight, so why the fuck would we want to be still out then? When the taxis home charge a premium, the streets are spattered with aggressive drunks, and you're fighting to move, or fighting to avoid fighting. Just waiting for the end of the working day and then it's game on.
