Today's thing that io9 got right in featuring. Despite not really having any use for knowing the periodic table or the various properties of elements besides out of general knowledge, I bought this because any memory feat person will tell you that if you want to memorize this sort of thing then using imagery in this way is infinitely and almost instantaneously the best way to do it.
