There are at least two volumes of hardcover Batman stories under the "Batman Illustrated by Neal Adams" brand. I saw one in Forbidden Planet today in between shoe shopping. The Denny O'Neil/Neal Adams Batman is the 70s James Bond Batman who's all about travelling the world, macking on Talia Al Ghul and having a hairy chest. It's not something that strictly interests me, but I've listened to a number of interviews with the likes of Jeph Loeb, Grant Morrison and Scott Snyder, writers who are about as definitively of modern Batman as anyone, and they've all had interesting things to say about O'Neil and Adams. Mainstream comics in the 70s kinda sucked, but probably not as much as they did in the 50s or 90s, so I'm drawn to checking out the Adams stuff despite it all. He really does draw a great Batman though:
