We're getting a new dog soon, a border terrier. Not my favourite breed, but it's a good pedigree and dogs are cute. Our malign, evil old cat will mother it i'm sure.

Borders are lovely. I grew up with one who has basically spoiled me on ever getting another dog.

My auntie has a litter that are just four weeks old and is offering first refusal. I'd be happy to keep one around the place, and the two adult dogs that my aunt has are lovely. Night and day too, one is a big, long coated male with a happy but easy going way about him and the other is a tiny raging rip of a thing that's always leaping about and hanging off the chew toy on the end of your arm. Or she was before she was pregnant - since then she looks worried and tired a lot.
