I hate this. Just received a phone call from a firm that say they'd read my CV and want to interview me. I never applied to them directly, have never heard of them and, from their website can't work out the job they are even offering. The email that we arranged on the phone to have me receive doesn't clarify. Is it admin, it is sales? - could be either. I would phone them, but I am in no mood, so an email is in order: this strategy that 'marketing' companies have of keeping their prospective drones on the back foot by disclosing no information about their activities is very tiresome, and I ain't turning up to an interview unprepared.

So what do I hate? Job sites. I never should have ticked the "make your CV available to recruiters" box. I am not well qualified enough to be headhunted; these fuckers are after my balls.

In my experience these sorts of companies usually end up selling knives door to door.
