My eBay Fu is strong.
May. 2nd, 2010 07:18 pmSome fucker added THIRTEEN QUID to my auction in the last 30 seconds, fortunately I saw this coming and added 17 to my maximum bid in the last 35 seconds. Motherfucker. You. Lose.
So, outbid them and their paltry £51, for a final price of £52. Still a good deal, since I saw a pair of lesser SR60s go for £48 the other day and a second pair of SR60s currently stands at £43 with two hours to go. But, alas, up til seconds earlier it was going for £38, which would have been legendary.
Edit: Tother pair of SR60s went for £44. I'ma watch prices rationalise.
Currently assuming UK average of 40-50 for the SR60s and 50-60 for the SR80s used on eBay. US price: £48 for the the SR60s new, UK price for same £85. Fucking Unbelievable. That said, I saw a pair of 125s go for £55 the other week, though they were in pretty scabby condition. Now that'd have been a coup. Had I known how shit'd turn out I'd have pressed and won them.
