Homebrew Fusion Reactor
Jun. 25th, 2010 12:37 pmThis is the definition of terrible journalism. Tells you nothing. Blather surrounding a couple of statistics. What sort of power was involved, since you bring it up? No?
Just a link generator, and it worked. In fact, do not click that link, click this one and go to the fusion reactor maker's actual blog.

a gaze blank and pitiless as the sun
Jun. 25th, 2010 05:57 pmYou can tell I'm not a big W. B. Yeats booster. But I do find him quite interesting.
In other news, my dog has a prolapsed nictitating membrane, which I have to admit is one of the best sentences I've written in ages. Common, it is claimed, but very rare in her breed. She looks ridiculous - one side she's a bright eyed border terrier and on the other a 15 year old bloodhound. She can be fixed, no doubt at great expense, but there's a twenty per cent chance of re(pro)lapse which would require the third eyelid to be removed entirely, giving her a lifetime of dry eye and eye drops. Also, it's quite likely that the other eye will go too.
