Jan. 26th, 2014 05:50 pmI'm replaying Vampire - The Masquerade: Bloodlines, considered by many to be one of the best games of its kind from the previous decade. I'd say it was a true enough statement, even if it does come with a lot of qualifiers which I won't get into here. One area of concern is the soundtrack, bloated and torpid with late-90s-style Gothic heavy metal as it is, which I enjoy but which can come off as embarrassingly kitschy.
Not to be deterred from playing by this minor cringe factor but neither having to put up with it if I don't want to, I'm an enterprising young person and I know what I like after all, I've made some minor alterations.
